1:1 Coaching for creatives
What if it turns out even better..?
What if it turns out even better..?
1:1 Coaching
Online
coaching is…
✓ Working together to define what success actually looks like for your creative practice
✓ Getting clear on what's keeping you stuck—pricing, burnout, lack of direction, all of it
✓ Building actionable plans for things like raising your rates, securing grants, or navigating a career pivot
✓ Accountability that keeps you moving without making you feel like crap when life happens
✓ A space to figure out what YOU want—not what Instagram or your family thinks you should want
✓ Evidence-based strategies from organisational psychology applied to your creative business
✓ Focused on your future—where you want to go and how to get there
✓ Teaching you to solve problems yourself so you don't need me forever
coaching isn’t…
✗ Therapy—if you're dealing with trauma, depression, or clinical mental health issues, you need a therapist (and they're amazing, I’m a BIG fan)
✗ Consulting—I won't write your business plan or grant application for you
✗ Mentoring—I'm not teaching you "my way" of doing things
✗ A magic bullet—I can't fix your business in one session while you sit back and take notes
✗ Generic advice like "just raise your rates" without addressing why you haven't
✗ Telling you to wake up at 5am, optimise your morning routine, or hustle harder
✗ Me talking at you for an hour—you'll be actively involved in every session
✗ A quick fix for problems that took years to develop

FAQ — Let’s clear things up
-
Yes! All my coaching is online via video call, so location doesn't matter. I've worked across Australia, Europe, and the US, which means I bring global perspective to whatever challenge you're facing.
If you're after grant writing support, most of my workshops focus on Australian arts funding, but the principles (understanding what assessors want, strategic positioning, substantiating your claims) apply anywhere. For international grants, we can work through your specific applications in 1:1 coaching sessions.
-
Therapy addresses trauma, depression, clinical mental health (if that's what you need, therapists are amazing—go see one).
Consulting means I do the work for you—I write your business plan or grant application. That's not what this is.
Mentoring means I teach you "my way" of doing things based on how I built my career. Also not what this is.
Coaching is about positive psychology, thriving, growth, and your future. Think of it as strategic partnership. I ask the right questions, help you see your options clearly, challenge assumptions that might be holding you back, and help you build actionable plans. But you're doing the work, not me.
-
Absolutely. You don't need to bring all the answers—that's not how this works.
I give you best practices, frameworks, templates, practical options, and recommendations (yes, including which apps to use or how to structure a budget). You'll get curated resources after every session tailored to your specific challenge.
The difference is I'm not telling you what to do. I give you structure and practical options, then you make the decisions that work for your practice. It's collaborative, not prescriptive.
-
That's really common and completely fine. Most people come to coaching knowing they're stuck or burnt out, but they can't quite name the problem yet.
Session 1 of The Deep Dive is all about getting clarity—we dig into what's not working and what you actually want. Often what you think is the problem is actually a symptom of something deeper. Book a discovery call and we'll figure out what makes sense for where you're at.
-
You don't need an MBA to work with me. I specialize in translating complex systems and processes into something that actually makes sense. That's kind of my whole thing.
Whether it's grant applications, pricing strategy, or building sustainable systems, I'll break it down in plain language. I bring evidence-based practice from organizational psychology, but I'm not going to drown you in jargon or make you feel stupid for not knowing something.
If you can run a creative practice, you're already doing business—you just might not call it that. We'll build on what you're already doing and fill in the gaps where you need them.
-
Both! The Power Hour is a single session for a specific challenge. The Deep Dive is four sessions over 8-16 weeks—designed as a structure for solving a complicated business issue with accountability and focused momentum.
But some of my clients have been working with me for years. If you're navigating ongoing growth, major transitions, or just want regular strategic support, we can absolutely work together long-term. That's not about dependency—it's about accountability and ongoing growth as your practice evolves.
We'll figure out what makes sense for you in the discovery call.
